Since 2012, SAIPAR has been at the forefront of advancing public knowledge, democratic governance, and intellectual debate in Zambia and across Africa. Through its flagship initiatives that include the following:
- Zambia Legal Information Institute (ZambiaLII) 2012– ongoing: Maintains a free, open-access digital legal information library providing public access to Zambian legislation and case law. For more information on ZambiaLII, click here
- Zambia Elections Research Network (ZERN) 2016–ongoing: Collaborates with the University of Cape Town and the University of Warwick to produce deep academic analyses and data tracking on Zambian elections.
- Lameck Goma Lecture Series 2014–ongoing: An annual premier public forum hosted by the Southern African Institute for Policy and Research, honouring Professor Lameck Goma Zambia's first UNZA Vice-Chancellor and bringing together leading African intellectuals, policymakers, and jurists to debate critical legal, economic, and educational issues shaping the continent.
