The Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR) is managed through a Board of Directors and an International Advisory Board comprised of scholars, policymakers and private actors. The Board of Directors and its Executive Committee formulates and monitors the implementation of policies and procedures designed to fulfill SAIPAR’s mission and objectives.
The Secretariat is run by an Executive Director and is assisted by a Management Committee. The Executive Director has overall co-ordinating and supervisory responsibility over staff, programmes, and the implementation of the SAIPAR mission and mandate. SAIPAR’s research is carried out by a network of researchers and research affiliates and through partnership and collaborative arrangements with several local, regional, and international institutions.
